Is tallow good for your face?
Yes. Beef tallow closely mirrors the natural lipids in human skin, so it absorbs cleanly and helps soften and protect the skin barrier. Honeyed Tallow pairs single-source American bred Angus tallow with olive oil, honey, frankincense, and vanilla — five ingredients, no seed oils, no fillers.
What is Honeyed Tallow made of?
Five ingredients and nothing else: rendered beef tallow (from American bred Angus cattle), olive oil, honey, frankincense, and vanilla. No water, no synthetic emulsifiers, no seed oils, no fragrance beyond the frankincense and vanilla.
Does Honeyed Tallow smell like beef?
No. Properly rendered Angus tallow is mild on its own; with the gentle warmth of frankincense and a finish of vanilla, the jar smells clean, balsamic, and quietly sweet.
Is tallow moisturizer non-comedogenic? Will it clog pores?
Beef tallow is generally well tolerated and low on the comedogenicity scale for most people, because it resembles skin's own oils rather than sitting on top of them. Everyone's skin differs, so we recommend a 24-hour patch test on the inner arm before broader use.
How do you use tallow on your face?
Warm a small amount between clean fingertips until it melts, then smooth it over freshly washed skin — face, lips, or the back of the hands. Morning, evening, or both. A little, often; tallow likes to be used sparingly.
Is Honeyed Tallow safe for sensitive skin?
The formula is just five ingredients, all listed on the jar, which makes it easy to know exactly what touches your skin. We still recommend a 24-hour patch test — especially if you have known sensitivities to beef tallow, olive oil, honey, frankincense resin, or vanilla.

How long does one jar last?
A 2 fl oz (59 mL) jar lasts most people several months. Because tallow is best used a little at a time, a small amount goes a long way.
Is Honeyed Tallow vegan?
No. Honeyed Tallow is made with rendered beef tallow (plus honey), so it is not vegan or vegetarian. It is an ancestral, animal-based moisturizer by design.
