These Terms govern your use of pureessentialtallow.com and any purchase you make from Pure & Essential Tallow, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("Pure & Essential," "we," "our," or "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

We've tried to write these in plain English. Where a clause matters legally, we've kept it precise.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase from us. By placing an order you confirm you are.

Orders, pricing, and payment

• Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change. The price applied to your order is the price shown at checkout when you complete payment.
• Placing an order is your offer to buy; the contract forms when we accept it (typically when we send a shipping confirmation). We may decline or cancel an order for any lawful reason — for example, suspected fraud, a pricing error, or unavailable stock — and we will refund any payment taken.
• We use Stripe to process payments. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms.

Product information, safe use, and no medical claims

Our products are cosmetics, intended to cleanse, moisturize, perfume, or improve appearance. They are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

You are responsible for using our products safely:

• Patch test a small amount on the inner arm 24 hours before broader use, especially if you have known sensitivities. Every ingredient is listed in full on the jar and on the product page.
• Discontinue use if irritation or any adverse reaction occurs, and consult a qualified professional if needed.
• Keep out of reach of children.

If you experience an adverse event, please report it to us at hello@pureessentialtallow.com so we can document and respond as the Responsible Person under MoCRA.

Intellectual property

The Pure & Essential name, logo, wheat-and-cross monogram, packaging design, photography, illustrations, and website content are owned by Pure & Essential Tallow, LLC and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of it without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing of the site.

Your content

If you submit reviews, photos, or other content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content in connection with our business — including on the site and in marketing — with attribution where reasonable. You confirm that the content is yours to share and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with, scrape at scale, probe, or breach the security of the site.
• Misrepresent who you are or where an order is going.
• Resell our products as new without our written consent.

Disclaimers

The site and our products are provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties (express, implied, statutory, or otherwise), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except for warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Cosmetic results vary by person. Nothing on the site is a substitute for advice from a qualified medical professional.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pure & Essential Tallow, LLC and its members, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim, regardless of theory, will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event causing the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those places, the above applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pure & Essential Tallow, LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site or our products, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

We hope it never comes to a dispute, but if one arises, please write to us first at hello@pureessentialtallow.com so we can try to work it out informally. If we can't resolve it within sixty (60) days, either party may bring the dispute in the state or federal courts located in Kendall County, Illinois or the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

You may always assert your non-waivable consumer rights in your home jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with the Shipping & Returns and Privacy Policy pages, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site and our products.
